I have been using the ancient Neutrogena Body Moisturizer Norwegian Formula (Daily Therapeutic Lotion) for being. It’s the only lotion I’ve found that really gets absorbed into my skin. It was a bit more expensive than most other lotions on the market, but I felt it was well worth it. I valued having the unscented version, too.
I have been perplexed, then, as to why Neutrogena would change such a fantastic product that clearly stood out among the rest? This new “dampness wrap” seems to be no viable replacement. The unscented version does not appear to exist. The smell is unpleasant (why, Neutrogena?), and does not go away for over 24 hours. The consistency has changed as well, and the lotion itself is does not sink into my skin as it’s former self did. As a result, my after-bath dampness routine has degraded to a chore again, and when necessary, with a clothespin on my nose.
I am open to suggestions as to where I can buy a product that closely resembles the ancient Neutrogena Body Moisturizer Norwegian Formula.

I bought this lotion for my 70 year ancient mom after she broke both legs and was bedridden for ayear. Her feet and legs were so dry and scaly. I tried all kinds of lotions. Being sole support of the family meant that I needed to be frugal and could not spend much.I use the neutogena face wash and like it. Never thought I would like another product as much. Well, my mom’s skin is very sensitive to lotions, creams and soaps, so I had a problem. Since I like my other neutrogena product, I tried the daily repair body lotion. Not only did I like it, but so did my mom. No terrible effects on her skin, just supple gorgeous soft skin. I use it, my mom uses it and her caretakers use it! I cant keep it in the house! Fantastic product! I have asthma and odors bother me, but I found nothing incorrect with the smell of this lotion. I highly recomend it!
